* By Train: The train from Colombo Fort, Kandy or Ella is a way to get to Badulla. The train goes over the Demodara Nine Arch Bridge.

* By Road: You can take a bus from Colombo. Drive from Ella. The drive takes less than an hour.

* Peak Season: December to March and July to August are the months to visit Badulla. The weather is good during these months.
